On August 9, at 12 pm, the Mesa County Democrats will meet at LaBamba Mexican Restaurant. The speaker will be Bennett Boeschenstein of the Grand Junction City Council. Bennett is a long-time Democratic activist and was elected last year as Grand Junction's city council member for District C. He is one of two Democratic city council-people in Grand Junction. UPDATE: Teresa Coons, city council member for District E, has agreed to join the August 9 luncheon as well! Here's your chance to talk to both of Grand Junction's Democratic city council people -- and enjoy a delightful lunch!
