In August, the Mesa County Democrats will hold their monthly luncheon on August 14, at A Taste of Heaven, at 2817 North Avenue in Grand Junction. (Some of you will remember this as the old Furrs Cafeteria building.)
The speaker this month will be Joel Dyer, vice president of Western Colorado Congress of Mesa County, which recently sent him to Rio de Janeiro to film a documentary about Rio+20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. Joel will present a preview of the film he is producing on the subject.
The cost this month is $16.
